50th Wedding Anniversary!!

In June, we celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of Scott's parents. It's hard to imagine living 50 years with someone! Ha ha! Especially, when you're together 24/7 for the last 12 years- Mission President, General Authority, and Temple President. Sheesh!! All kidding aside, we love them so much and we had such a great time celebrating with them in Sunriver, Oregon. Everyone made it, but one niece who is now in college and couldn't get the time off. Here's a few pics we had taken.

 Con & Carolyn
Happy 50th!!

All because two people fell in love!! Ha ha!
The 5 siblings. Yep, I chose the big guy in the middle and I can't wait to tag this pic on Facebook!

 The whole family!

Our little family. Carter was standing on a huge rock. I think this pic is kind of awkward.

Me and my sweet boy!! I love him so much! I tell him I'm the only girl he can have in his life until he's 25 to which he responds, "No, until I'm 16." We'll just have to see about that:)

Silly cousins, but you saw their parents right?

The boy cousins. You counted right-only four! The two big boys will be on missions in two years. They were both in our wedding when they were Carter's age- seriously makes me cry. Carter and Ty are best buds. I love that Carter has two cousins who are adopted like him, one of which is Ty.

The Girls- minus one!!
Have you ever seen a prettier bunch of girls? They are as sweet as they are pretty too!!

All the grandkids together! This was their idea:)

Monica's Visit

When I was 16, I was an exchange student to Southern Brazil. I was there for my entire junior year (11 months). I lived with 3 different families, but the first one was "my family." I love them so dearly. Luckily, Scott served his mission in Rio and we share a love of all things Brazilian. We went back about 5 years ago because my host sister, Monica, got married. She had her first trip to The States in May for business, but we were able to get her about 36 hours. It was soooooo great! Carter absolutely loved her and keeps asking when she's coming back. Poor Monica was so exhausted, but we managed to snap a few pics.

Last Day of Preschool

Carter had his last day of preschool at the end of May. It was soooooo sad for me. I have loved all the kids he has gone to school with the two years he has gone at this school. Truly, fantastic kids with fantastic parents. Here's a few pics I snapped the last day of school.

 Carter and his buddy, Dustin.
 Carter and his buddy, Jack.
Carter and Kaden are best buds.
These two are inseparable and I have to say I rather love Kaden's mom too:)
Carter and his own style! One day when we were having a bit of a disagreement over what he was choosing to wear (we were headed somewhere nice), his comment was, "Mom, I've got fashion sense. I know what's cool and I know what's off the hook!"
Carter, Faith, and Brianna. Carter has informed us that he's going to marry Faith. He thinks she's so cute. We think she's pretty cute too and super sweet.
Peyton, Carter, and Faith.
Peyton and Faith are cousins and coincidentally, Kaden is crushin on Peyton and Carter has a crush on Faith. It's pretty cute to hear the boys talk about these two girls.
