Funny Boy

Carter walks into Scott office and grabs his briefcase and informs us that he's going to work. He walks into the conference room, puts the briefcase on the table and says, "Okay, let's talk!"

Carter really wants to move his bedroom. We told him tonight that he could chose whatever bedroom he wanted. We have three "kids" rooms, a guest room, and our bedroom. We obviously were thinking he could chose one of the "open" bedrooms of which there are three!! He looked at us and said, "Well, then I think I'll take your room."

Tonight after Scott said it was time to say prayers and go to bed Carter responded with a blank look and in a monotone voice, said, "I named Robot" and then moved his arms like a robot:) Don't know where that came from!!

Carter, "Dad, don't snake my waffle!"

Favorite Thing!

For Christmas, Carter asked for a quad, a chainsaw, and a John Deere Tractor. Santa delivered on all three, but the quad is for sure his favorite. He takes really good care of it. He makes sure it is put away every night. He washes it with wet wipes and he is always remembers to thank Heavenly Father for it every night.
When he first got it he took over Scott's parking space in the garage. Carter would park his quad smack dab in Scott's place. It was funny for a little while. He rides it everyday and just recently Daddy changed it would go faster. Carter was quite put out that we knew it would go faster all along and couldn't understand why we would keep that from him, but he quickly got over it. Here's the picture of him getting it on Christmas Day. Daddy was nice enough to drive out to Utah from Oregon just in case Santa brought him one:)
Posing by the bridge on the path behind our house.

Hot Shot! This is day he got his 2nd cast.
Well 4th of the summer, but only his 2nd injury (in 6 weeks might I add).

Not terribly thrilled to be posing.

Waiting for Mom to catch up!

He was showing me all kinds of tricks before bed.
We can't figure out why he keeps breaking his foot:) lol.
(We haven't had any injuries from this yet.)

All SMILES!

Golden Years!

Every year the town we live in has a celebration. They had a parade of antique tractors and firetrucks. Carter could not have been happier.

He learned how to golf. We're pretty sure he's not patient enough for it!
He only threw the club once though:)

Happy as a clam watching the parade.

He loved this. I thought t was a waste of 5 bucks.
Maybe Grandma should just get a pony. Hmmm. Ha ha!

This really cracked me up. Instead of calf roping they had kids trying to get underwear on goats! It was pretty funny! We opted to not have Carter try this- yet!
